The Safe
Drive Stay Alive touring show is a production by West Sussex Fire Brigade.
We provide technical aspects such as Sound Lighting as well as DJ Si.
The show visits theatres across West Sussex and buss's in local sixth form and college students
to that theatre by the hundreds and into +1000 in some venues.
We turn the theatre into a nightclub for the first 30 mins of the show, DJ Si
does his thing and gets everyone very exited, everyone is up and dances in the
isles as if they were out on a typical night out...but when he stops DJing it
all becomes very different.
The show revolves around a very hard hitting video of a girls night out on her
18th birthday that ends in tragedy. The film may be fictitious but the people
who come on stage to tell their stories are very real.
After dark thoroughly supports this project and will do as long as we can.
"I have now been DJ'ing for Safe drive since it started back in 2005, I
may have a bit of fun at the start of each show but despite seeing the show
over and over again I still get hit hard by it. There are some absolute idiots
on the road and many of them are new drivers that don't have the driving experience
and skill when things go wrong, if this show can make them think twice before prating
around and stop at least one person being killed then its worth every penny and
moment of effort" Simon Horn "DJ Si" |
